Leg #8 - May, 2008 - At Apple-Cade, Winchester, Virginia.

Hey Floyd
John and I did lot of things before going to Apple-Cade. We had breakfast at the Amwell diner and talked about the up and coming trip to Apple-Cade.
Well we made it to Apple-Cade ok. We left Ringoes New Jersey at 1:45 am Friday to meet Magenta (Dave) in Pa. We got to Va at 6:00am and then it was off to California Sidecar. What a nice lunch we had there.
On the way back to the hotel we drove on the skyline drive. It was a nice day along the drive and you could see for miles and miles.
The next day was Saturday. We got up and had a good breakfast and got ready for a trip to Luray caverns with Super Jet and crew.
I think Floyd would love to play this.
They said this rock formation looks like a Gnome. I think it maybe be my Aunt Sitter the caveman gnome.
We got back a little late but we did make it back to the barbeque and meet this guy Wheels. He wants my job of being the gnome but I don’t think he would fit in the bag.
This is BlkPirate. He's the one that had a dream about putting on Apple-Cade and it came true. What a nice turn out of friends. I think I am going to hang out with BlkPirate for a little while to see where he takes me to. It was nice hanging with you John. Maybe one day I will find my brother who started his trip from Cats-Cade. I think I will meet more nice people than my brother did, and I hope I will not get kidnaped like he did.
